Youth4Nature at UNFCCC COP30
Pay Up. Protect Nature. Power the People!
For many years, our movement has been laying the groundwork for this very moment. We have been leading conversations about nature, advocating for the people, and demanding action on the road to COP30. And now, here we are.
From 10 to 21 November 2025, the 30th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP30) will be taking place in Belém, Brazil. Youth4Nature is thrilled to be sending an amazing 3-person Global Youth Delegation to this important moment.
We must make sure no one is left behind. We must not lose hope. We must take care of each other along the way. Connect with us on the ground and follow our work online.

Climate and nature solutions cannot afford to lose the potential of youth leaders. We don’t just participate, we transform and create that space for youth to lead solutions. We are excited to showcase successful climate-nature solutions like Y4N’s INUKA pilot, exhibit powerful stories from youth across the world, and get loud about our new NbS Global Youth Statement reports. Join us at our events (more added daily)!
Calls to Action
Each COP feels like a historical moment. An almost unprecedented opportunity. An aching for radical transformation. Following another season of intensified natural disasters and extreme heat around the world, and a landmark ruling by the ICJ about state responsibility to act on climate change, we are calling for leaders to: Pay Up. Protect Nature. Power the People!
-
We demand that climate finance definitions be more targeted and ambitious, that previous financial commitments be upheld, and that new commitments through public and grant-based mechanisms are transparent, accessible, and equitable across all sectors, especially for youth and frontline communities.
-
We demand that NDCs and NAPs incorporate nature, NbS, and ecosystem-based approaches in alignment with other UN conventions (UNCBD, UNCCD), with safeguards for human and land rights, alignment with biodiversity science, and promotion of sustainable livelihoods.
-
We demand that the knowledge, rights, and solutions of youth and frontline communities are officially recognised and resourced as part of NDC and NAP implementation, especially in employment, education, and local planning related to nature-based sectors.
