Pay Up. Protect Nature. Power the People!
Youth4Nature at UNFCCC COP30
We - this movement - have been building towards this moment for many years. For years, we have been talking about, advocating from, and demanding action on the road to COP30. And now, here we are.
From 10 to 21 November 2025, the 30th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP30) will be taking place in Belém, Brazil. Youth4Nature is thrilled to be sending an amazing 3-person Global Youth Delegation to this important moment.
We must make sure no one is left behind. We must not lose hope. We must take care of each other along the way. Connect with us on the ground and follow our work online.

Calls to Action
Each COP feels like a historical moment. An almost unprecedented opportunity. An aching for radical transformation. Following another season of intensified natural disasters around the world, a landmark ruling by the ICJ about state responsibility to act on climate change, and XXX….. We need leaders to Pay Up. Protect Nature. Power the People!
-
We demand that climate finance is defined, that previous climate finance commitments are upheld, and that finance mechanisms follow equitable, transparent and grant-based approaches for youth and frontline communities across all work streams.
-
We demand that NDCs and NAPs are delivered, and clearly demonstrate commitments to nature, including respect for human rights, alignment with biodiversity science for healthy ecosystems, and promotion of local livelihoods that support nature.
-
We demand that the knowledge, capacity, and stewardship of youth, frontline leaders, and communities are recognised, respected, and valued - in decision-making, and in implementation - and that these leaders are upskilled as pathways to nurture locally-led solutions and accelerate rights-based planning and policy.
Events at COP30
Climate and nature solutions cannot afford to lose the potential of youth leaders. We don’t just participate, we transform. We are excited to showcase successful climate-nature solutions like Y4N’s INUKA pilot, exhibit powerful stories from youth across the world, and get loud about our new NbS Global Youth Statement reports. Join us at our events.
