Share your personal, local story with us to join youth around the world raising their voices for nature-based solutions to the climate crisis.

While the deadline to submit a story and be considered to attend New York Climate Week is over, we are still accepting stories from youth around the world. If you are 30 years old or younger, and are taking action for nature and for climate in your community, we want to help you share your story with the world. See below for more information on submission details.

Why Storytelling?

We believe that youth have strong and compelling stories to share about the connections between nature and the climate crisis. Therefore, Youth4Nature is calling on young people from all over the world to submit their stories about nature-based solutions. Our goal is to elevate the voices of youth, amplify them across media, and build the potential of young people to be stewards for a “nature for climate” movement.

Stories will be shared online on a multimedia story-map, as well as through digital and social media. We also will be sharing stories on-the-ground during New York Climate Week, and at the United Nations Youth Climate Summit this September!

While the deadline to submit a story and be considered to attend New York Climate Week is over, we are still accepting stories from youth around the world. Raise your voice and join the movement!

Submission Guidelines

Before submitting a story, it is important that you read through our Storytelling Campaign Submission Guidelines to ensure that we are able to share your story with the world.
The Guidelines are available in English, French, Spanish, Swahili, Russian, and Ukrainian.

How to Submit

We are accepting story submissions on a rolling basis, and hope to share stories in the lead-up to, during, and after the Summit. If you wish for your story to be shared on-the-ground in New York, we encourage you to submit as soon as possible. If you are under 18, you must include this form with your story.
