Youth4Nature Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we do with your personal data. It applies to all programs and projects run by the Youth4Nature Foundation and applies to supporters of the Youth4Nature Foundation (executive member, staff, volunteer, sponsor, partner), participants of our programs, and individuals who visit our website, email, call or write to us.

We’ll never sell your personal data and will only share it with organisations we work with when it’s necessary and the privacy and security of your data is assured.

Who are we?

The Youth4Nature Foundation (or simply, Youth4Nature) is a for-youth, by-youth non-profit organization based in Vancouver, Canada. Our mission is three-fold:

  1. Mobilize decision-makers to take ambitious action for nature and climate by 2030 that creates co-benefits for social and human well-being;

  2. Elevate the voices of youth by providing a platform to share their stories and have them be heard; and,

  3. Build a bridge for youth action between the biodiversity and climate movements, while building their capacity as stewards for nature and climate.

We strive towards these goals through knowledge-sharing, storytelling, and capacity-building.

We are run by a team of 100% youth. While we are based in Vancouver, Canada, we are a globally-facing organization and run programs that engage and employ young people from both inside and outside of Canada.

Youth4Nature was formally an initiative under the Climate Guides Foundation, a former youth-led organization also based in Canada. As of April 2020, Youth4Nature is its own registered non-profit organization, recognized under the British Columbia Societies Act.

If you have any questions in relation to this privacy policy or how we use your personal data they should be sent to hello@youth4nature.org.
