As countries continue to develop and update their Nationally Determined Contributions and National Adaptation Plans, there is an opportunity to ensure policies, financing, and implementation include youth, respect human rights, align with biodiversity, and promote sustainable livelihoods. While local youth-led projects often face structural challenges, there are also successes and lessons to share as examples of good practice. To this end, our short presentation will spotlight selected stories from our Glocal Climate-Nature Storymap, proving how youth-led efforts already contribute to national and international plans and action, and sharing ideas on how to better support and resource this work. This event is part of Youth4Nature’s Unearth Voices Storytelling Campaign, which explores how social, economic and political power shape plans, financing, and solutions for climate and nature.
