Younger generations are often uncritically portrayed as reluctant to engage in nature-based livelihoods such as agriculture, fishing and forestry. To support a just and resilient transition for these industries, there is a need to unpack these assumptions and ensure youth are counted in emission-reduction policies and climate adaptation plans. 

We invite young researchers, campaigners, entrepreneurs, artists and community leaders engaged, or interested, in sustainable nature-based projects and practices to attend this interactive and creative session on the importance of sharing their stories and how to craft a compelling narrative. 

This event is part of Youth4Nature’s ongoing Unearth Voices Storytelling Campaign, which explores how social, economic and political power shape plans, financing and solutions for climate and nature in local communities.
