Unearth Voices: Youth Stories on Power in the Climate-Nature Nexus

📍 People’s COP House, Sala 1 (Térreo) - Travessa Piedade, 426 – Reduto, Belém
📅 17 November, 2025 from 18:15 - 19:45 local time (BRT, UTC-3)

As countries continue to develop and update their Nationally Determined Contributions and National Adaptation Plans, there is an opportunity to ensure policies, and their financing and implementation, include youth, respect human rights, align with biodiversity, and promote sustainable livelihoods. While local youth-led projects often experience structural challenges and complex contexts, there are also successes and learnings to uplift as examples of good practices.

To this end, this storytelling exhibition will spotlight selected stories from our Glocal Climate-Nature Storymap, centering the experiences of youth, especially those from Indigenous, frontline, displaced and Global South communities, as key actors in implementation, moving us from the margins to the mainstream of climate and biodiversity action.

This exhibit would include photos and written excerpts. This event would be part of Youth4Nature’s Unearth Voices Storytelling Campaign, which explores how social, economic and political power shape plans, financing and solutions for climate and nature.
