Water, Borders, and Futures: Youth Voices on Climate Mobility and Policy Accountability

📍 Blue Zone, Climate Mobility Pavilion
📅 18 November, 2025 from 11:00 - 12:00 local time (BRT, UTC-3)

At this event, we will highlight how youth-led storytelling, policy advocacy, and climate mobility evidence can be scaled and integrated into global adaptation finance systems —especially under the Green Climate Fund (GCF).

Rooted in Youth4Nature’s Storytelling Campaign and Inuka Project, together with YOUNGO’s Global Youth Statement on Nature-based Solutions (NbS), the session explores how narratives from youth and diaspora communities are shaping water and climate resilience agendas across regions such as the Horn of Africa, the Pacific, and Latin America.

Building on the Water, Voices, and Borders initiative in Somalia, this dialogue demonstrates how consultations, storytelling, and local research can become structured, fundable pathways for GCF-aligned adaptation actions.

The event will promote collaboration between youth networks, adaptation institutions, and finance mechanisms, aiming to open opportunities for youth-accessible climate finance dedicated to the implementation of NbS and mobility-resilient projects.
