Vinamra Mathur is the Asia-Pacific Regional Director for Youth4Nature. He believes in science-based research and highlighting local solutions for environmental change.  Vinamra is currently a PhD candidate in the Graduate Program in Sustainability Science – Global Leadership Initiative (GPSS-GLI), University of Tokyo. He holds a BSc (Hons.) in Environmental Science from the University of Manchester and an MSc in Environmental Governance from the United Nations University, Tokyo.

Vinamra has extensive professional experience working in Asia Pacific having  worked with Nature Conservancy, UNDP Asia Pacific, and RARE Conservation during  which he provided capacity-building and knowledge-sharing services to several Asia-Pacific countries in support of their efforts to promote biodiversity conservation and sustainability within the region.

Vinamra is fluent in English and Hindi. He enjoys cooking, playing sports, and spending quality time with friends.
