Sekatuka was born and raised in a city called Jinja, Uganda where the source of River Nile is found. He has been a social activist on so many issues that affect society including HIV, Mental health, human rights, Diversity and inclusion, Gender Based Violence and climate change/Nature. He has worked in acute care settings, NGOs and volunteered with various organizations like UNEP MGCY, Love To Love organization, Mental Health Innovation Network. His diverse background allows him to merge various concepts in activism thereby supporting various movements.

Sekatuka holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Health Promotion from Uganda Martyrs University, he is currently a Global Coaching Fellow training and coaching movement leaders in Uganda.

In his free time, he likes meditating and spiritual work; reading about new stuff, walking in nature, sauna, swimming and writing. He conducts free counseling and mentorship sessions to the youth, something he’s passionate about. Mind you he talks a lot if he finds a person of a similar trait.
