Luc currently serves as President of the University of Canterbury Students’ Association (UCSA), representing ~25,000 students. With a background in governance, climate, and community, he’s passionate about systems change that centres people, equity, and common sense solutions.
He’s taken on COP29 under the NZ delegation, reworked the student voice space nationally in NZ, and works closely with diverse student communities such as Maori, Pacifica, and International, all with the mission to drive real change on the ground.
Outside of his roles, you’ll find Luc enjoying New Zealand’s stunning natural spaces, producing music, and studying languages. He speaks French and English fluently and is learning German!
