Fun fact: Hailey has an affinity for pikas, not for timezones.

Hailey is now a Global Ambassador helping to co-lead the Policy Task Force! Formerly, she held the role of Managing Director, before that Communications Lead and Logistics Lead. She holds a B.Sc. in Conservation from the University of British Columbia, majoring in Global Perspectives. As a result of her inter-disciplinary degree she is a strong advocate for systems thinking and intersectional environmentalism. She brings a background in research and resource policy spanning through the academic, non-governmental, and provincial governance scales, having worked previously at the B.C. Ministry of Agriculture, Legislative Assembly of British Columbia, the B.C. Wildlife Federation, and as a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholar at the Wildlife Institute of India. She currently works as Policy Manager for the B.C. Green Caucus.

Outside of work you can find her rock climbing, biking, and discussing politics.
