Adiza Abdul-Rafiu Mohammed is a passionate youth activist and climate and environmental protection advocate. Aside that she has or is volunteering with several organisations.

She is also the founder of Social Youth Drive Foundation and also a Project Officer at UN SDSN African Focal Point on Climate Change. Her interest in Environmental Management and Climate Change began during the Global Landscape Forum in 2018.  She learned about how climate change is affecting indigenous communities and farmers and has set up an initiative called Plastic4Education whereby solid waste are turned into innovative solutions for environmental issues and climate change.

She's championing youth leadership in scope  of the Sustainable Development Goal 13, and on that wing has been on both national and international platforms for speaking engagements. And as an active member of the International Youth Diplomacy Conference, she chairs various portfolio at the organization's annual conference.

She's the brain behind the Plastic for Education project, an initiative of her organization that is using plastic wastes to build classrooms in a rural community in the Volta region of Ghana. Her works as well focus on women development that has led her to organize many vocational trainings for women in rural Ghana.
